Children thrive on routine. Ours is unhurried and consistent, with room for spontaneous discovery. Here's how a typical weekday unfolds — from the soft morning drop-off to an unhurried afternoon goodbye.

7:00 – 8:00 AM
Arrival & gentle start
Warm greetings to support smooth transitions from home. Children store belongings independently and settle in with quiet activities — books, puzzles, sensory bins. Individual needs supported during arrival.
Focus — Emotional security, independence, transition skills
7:30 – 8:00 AM
Free play & social interaction
Choice-based play — blocks, dramatic play, art, fine motor. Peer interaction encouraged through guided conversation. Staff observe and support social development.
Focus — Social skills, communication, creativity
8:00 – 8:30 AM
Breakfast
Nutritious, family-style organic meal. Children practice serving, pouring, and cleaning up. Handwashing before and after meals.

8:35 – 9:00 AM
Hygiene & transition
Handwashing and toileting or diapering as needed. Smooth transition to structured learning activities.

9:00 – 10:00 AM
Learning centers & small groups
Rotating Montessori centers — art, sensory, blocks/STEM, literacy, puzzles. Small-group instruction based on age and development. Teacher-guided and child-led exploration.

10:00 – 10:25 AM
Morning snack
A light, healthy snack — fruit or vegetable always served. Children continue practicing hygiene routines and table manners.

10:25 – 10:30 AM
Transition to outdoor
Toileting and diapering as needed. Prep for outdoor play — shoes, jackets, sunscreen if applicable.

10:30 – 11:30 AM
Outdoor play & circle time
Daily outdoor play (weather permitting). Running, climbing, jungle-gym exploration, group games. Circle time includes songs in English, Arabic, and French; stories; literacy; math; and science.

11:30 – 11:50 AM
Clean-up & transition
Children help clean up play areas alongside staff. Consistent routines support smooth transitions.

12:00 – 12:30 PM
Lunch
A balanced organic lunch. Staff model healthy eating and encourage children to try new foods. Family-style table where children help and converse.

12:30 – 1:00 PM
Quiet activities & wind-down
Calm activities — books, drawing, soft music. Toileting and diapering as needed. Preparation for rest time.

1:00 – 2:30 PM
Nap & quiet time
Infants and toddlers nap in our supervised Sleep/Quiet Room with comfortable mats and clean weekly-laundered bedding. Older children rest quietly or engage in low-energy activities. Soft lighting, soft music, infants checked every 15 minutes.

2:30 – 3:00 PM
Wake-up & transition
Gradual wake-up with staff support. Toileting, diapering, handwashing. Quiet table activities to ease back into the day.

3:00 – 3:30 PM
Afternoon activities
Activities adapted by age — art, science, cooking, music, or sensory play. Outdoor or indoor gross motor included when possible. Children pick what they're drawn to.

3:30 – 4:00 PM
Afternoon snack
A healthy organic snack — fruit or vegetable always part of it. Continued practice of hygiene and self-care routines.

4:00 – 4:50 PM
Free play
Choice-based play indoors or outdoors. Younger children participate in dramatic play, building, or art. A relaxed end to the active day.

4:50 – 5:00 PM
Clean-up & pick-up
Children work with staff to organize and clean activity areas before dismissal. Staff provide each parent a summary of their child's day and any important updates.
Focus — Responsibility, parent communication, smooth transition home
Schedule adjusts slightly by age. Infants follow their own feeding and sleep routines, with crib naps and 15-minute supervision checks.
